This is an outing with people who love taking photos. ![]() I love serving this community and hope to earn your vote! My husband and I moved to Manhattan Beach 24 years ago so our sons could grow up in a tight-knit community with excellent public schools. I served this community with honor for 16 years as a School Boardmember (2003-2011) and then as a City Councilmember (2011-2019). I am running again to help build a Council that seeks consensus with each other and the community. We’ve all had enough of the partisan agendas and culture wars. Let’s get back to solving problems, putting the community first, and getting things done. We need to kickstart construction of the new Senior & Scout Community center, revitalize our parks, and build a new swimming pool worthy of our residents. We must protect our environment by increasing solar on city buildings, installing new east/west bike lanes to connect our city, and preserving the health of our oceans. We need to support our first responders who keep us safe, help our businesses thrive and be good partners to our school district. I want to do all this and more, with your help. I'm running to represent everyone, not just those who vote for me. I'd be honored to earn your vote, once again. Thank you, Amy Howorth |
